Hog - While testing the new Optima Pro .45 in
southern Texas, CVA's National Sales Manager Terry L. Eby shot
this 225lb. hog with a 275 grain Aero-Tip bullet at a little
over 100 yards.

80 grains of powder.

Teacher Takes Hog - Leigh is a 5th grade teacher
at Broxton-Mary Hayes Elementary School. The hog was a 75 lb boar
killed on the Ocmulgee River in South Ga. The shot was 25 yds.
She used two 50 grain pellets in a CVA 50 caliber with power belt
bullet. The 295 grain bullet mushroomed to the size of a quarter.
It was recovered under the skin in the off side. When the smoke
cleared, the hog was dead in his tracks.
