Eleven year old Hayley Van Scoyk, decided to
get into the action with her dad's new Optima Muzzleloading rifle
and added this nice Iowa doe to the family freezer.

Greg Van Scoyk, of Council Bluffs Iowa, up-graded
his CVA rifle last year from an Eclipse to a Nickel Optima. After
getting the rifle scoped and a load worked up, he headed out to the woods with the new rifle. Greg shot his biggest buck
yet, with a clean quick kill at 125 yards.

Kirk
Hayes ventured out on a cold December day in Iowa, with
his new Optima Pro. Kirk loaded his new rifle with a three pellet
charge of Triple 7 and .50 caliber 245 grain PowerBelt bullet,
and killed his deer at 45 yards. This Iowa buck sported four tines
over 12 inches and is 20 inches wide.

Vince Sellers from Illinois, poses with a respectable
South Georgia 7-Point and his Optima Pro .45 caliber rifle. A
125 yard shot with a new light weight PowerBelt Aero-Tip bullet
on the first night of his hunt, got his trip to the south started
off right.

Dave Rimathe shot this deer during the late Iowa muzzleloader
season last year. He was about 75 yards out when he stood up,
and Dave placed a 225 PowerBelt bullet, perfectly broadside. The
deer only went about 60 yards before expiring. The rack grosses
about 140 with a partially broken main beam.

Doug Bradley has plenty of reason to grin, posing with
his Virginia 10 Pointer that green scored 172.6. Doug's CVA Apollo
put this buck with 8 inch brow tines on the wall back in PA.

Ben Wenworth found out they grow them big in Missouri when
this 157 1/8th 10 point settled into the sights on his CVA FireBolt
